简　　介

　　年轻有为的女律师维尔玛突然接到一通电话，声称维尔玛的独生女儿沙娜娅已被绑架，而赎回女儿的条件，是帮一个在押罪犯尼亚兹打赢一场官司，否则将会撕票，维尔玛在警官约翰的暗中帮助下，寻找线索，却不料到牵扯出了一起惊天杀人案，平日柔弱善良的母亲即将开启一场无情的疯狂杀戮。
       本片由生产后复出的印度第一美女艾西瓦娅·雷 Aishwarya Rai，首部复出电影，电影以印度近年闹得沸沸扬扬的强暴案为蓝本，揭露印度政府不作为，数千年种姓制度的弊端，印度社会极端的男女不平等，立在保护更多的女性，避免被暴徒伤害。
